Mycelia Limited Edition Collectible

A collectible miniature of Daniel Popper’s celebrated sculpture created for the Human + Nature Exhibition (2021–2023) at the Morton Arboretum in Lisle, Illinois, USA.

Mycelia is named for the delicate fungal threads that form nature’s hidden communication system. Inspired by the “woodwide web” described by forest scientist Peter Wohlleben, the piece highlights the underground networks that link humans, trees, and fungi.

Mushrooms emerge from within the figure, symbolising fungal intelligence and the cycle of growth, decay, and renewal. The artwork offers a gentle reminder that humans and mycelium are part of the same intricate, interconnected whole.
